Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Here is the foundation of entry. 

The Stygian Way asks all those who are considered to have a firm basis in the 42...

The 42

  1. A meditation system applied to an adept level  

  2. The ability to focus, use intent, and stay on task while being disciplined and organized 

  3. At least two divination systems should be in good practice   

  4. Knowledge of the Self, completely including Shadow Work 

  5. An understanding and application of behavioral modification to change aspects you want to or need to change

 6. Skills of self-hypnosis to further modify what is needed

 7. A completed initiatory process where you are NOT in control and had to learn to trust others  

 8. Functional knowledge of energy and how to use it and manipulate it 

 9. An understanding of what appeals to and disgusts you and the ability to deal with both 

 10. A set praxis to the intermediate level with proficiency  

11. The ability to use all of your senses effectively and to quell fears  

12. The ability to be possessed, ridden, or used as a vessel

13. The ability to be a priest/consort or presider for rituals that garner results  

14. The ability to teach or express yourself to others coherently and with candor  

15. Awareness of society’s influence and having the desire to release your chains 

16. Knowing your dharma while having an active role in your growth

17. Having a skillset in a healing method, bodywork, herbal, sexual, psychological, etc.  

18. The ability to integrate your work into your unfolding

19. The ability to peel away people like bark if they prevent your work  

20. Move from being the prey to the predator (the art and balance) 

31. The ability to observe, take in, and learn to then do your will

32. Merging the three spirits/souls and integrating a Deific unfolding

33. Astral travel is only the beginning, and immersion into your personal ritual chamber 

34. Personal forgiveness and acceptance of responsibility in all actions  

35. The ability to be joyful, retain a sense of humor, and a constant need to advance

22. Use a guide, mentor, or teacher to lessen the impact of #21 

23. Balance in all things, the Stygian Way requires this  

24. Decide, determine, weigh, accept, forgive, adapt, debate, and let go 

25. Trust yourself first, after you earn it 

36. Manifesting your world and system, while creating and destroying at will 

37. Cultivating a system you constantly work to improve by “Steel on Steel.”  

38. Being an Artist by nature, by actions, and by work

39. Integration of Yoga, Mantra, and your dharma into mysticism

40. Raising Power and the Knowledge of what to do with it 

26. Protect yourself first, or you have nothing to offer others 

27. Do not seek credit, to win, or to be seen. The occult is hidden; learn to be joyful in quiet silence, draw from that, or do not enter

28. Body movement and care for the temple are needed and required for all the work 

29. Sexual skills and the ability to understand yourself and others

30. The ability to study, read, comprehend, and think deeply

41. Spell Craft, Sigils, Workings, Servitors, Guardians, Wards, Protections 

42. The Art of the Altar, the Ritual, and the Body in all their forms
